Superior Recreational Products, in partnership with MAPA Recreation, is excited to donate new playground equipment to the City of Asheville, NC, through its charitable initiative, Superior HOPES, in response to the devastating flooding that followed Hurricane Helene in 2024.
The Superior HOPES program is dedicated to giving back to communities in need by providing safe and meaningful play spaces for children. With Asheville families and neighborhoods still working to recover from the hurricane’s impact, Superior Recreational Products is honored to contribute a new playground that will serve as a beacon of hope and resilience for local children and families.
The playground, which will be installed at Stephens-Lee Community Center, is a tower-style playground featuring a soaring deck height, multiple slides and climbers, and a large shade topper. Superior Recreational Products hopes the new space will provide a place for families to gather, children to thrive, and communities to reconnect as recovery continues.
This donation is part of Superior’s broader commitment to giving back through the Superior HOPES program. By focusing on projects that uplift communities in times of crisis, Superior Recreational Products continues its mission to inspire play and strengthen connections.
