Our Design Process

When you work with us or with one of our partners, you can rest assured that the playground design process is as easy as 1-2-3! It's our job to understand your needs, analyze various options, and design the best playground for you.

THE DESIGN & QUOTATION PROCESS
Our Design Process
is as Easy as 1-2-3

Your sales representative will begin by listening to your needs and wants and discuss details that will help plan your new commercial playground so that your vision can be met. These details include:

  • Project scope and requirements (age range, play structure type, shade, amenities, surfacing, etc.)
  • Measure the size of your play space
  • Determine site accessibility for installation
  • Budget available and/or needed to meet your playground vision
  • Timeframe
  • Possible obstacles (permits, etc.)

Based on your site consultation, your sales representative will create a site plan that meets your needs and wants. While making your site plan, your sales representative will consider things like play systems, freestanding play, shade structures, site furnishings, walking paths, and more. What's more, they'll ensure proper use zones and accessibility.

Safety is our top priority when it comes to playgrounds. We design our play spaces to meet or exceed the standards set forth by these organizations:

  • International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association
  • American Society for Testing and Materials
  • U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission
  • United States Access Board

We follow our own strict in-house standards and guidelines while also having staff that are CPSI certified who will review your site plan for safety and functionality. Our staff will ensure play equipment has the proper safety zones and more.

Your sales representative will provide a proposal that will include:

  • Site plan
  • Computer-aided design (CAD) drawing
  • Renderings, if requested
  • Final cost
  • Installation plan
  • Expected lead time

We're in the home stretch! All of our equipment is made to order. Once you’ve accepted the proposal, we’ll schedule the equipment to be manufactured in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, located right here in the United States.

While your equipment is being made, your sales representative will schedule the installation and construction of your new play area and any supporting activities to get your playground ready for the ribbon-cutting ceremony on time.

If you choose to do a community build or install, be sure to have a professional installer supervise and lead your team to ensure everything is installed correctly and safely.
