Ellis Park
Salisbury, North Carolina
Rowan County, N.C. sought to bring their community together with an inclusive playground at Ellis Park in order to provide children of all ages and abilities with a place for them to engage in their right to play.
With the help of Superior Recreation of the Carolinas, they designed a nature-themed inclusive play environment. This play space features a large structure with a balance of meaningful play activities, Inclusive Orbit, swing set, Buddy Benches, and poured in place surfacing.
